Daily countdowns

Daily campaigns use the daily closing time in the campaign timezone. Choose this when the promotion really repeats each day. Do not use a daily rule for a one-time event just because it is easier than entering a date.

Set a closing time that matches your business policy. A new day changes the schedule’s relevant deadline; it does not automatically reopen a store discount or update an external checkout.

Recurring weekday windows

  1. 1Choose Recurring and select the weekdays on which the offer is active.
  2. 2Enter the local opening and closing times in the campaign timezone. The closing time must be later than the opening time.
  3. 3Save the rule, then inspect both an active window and a time outside it. Preview the closed/waiting behavior.
  4. 4Configure the smart link’s closed destination to explain when the next window is available.

Outside the active window

A schedule has inactive periods as well as active ones. The state may be waiting or closed rather than a countdown to a currently purchasable offer. Use clear supporting text and destinations so customers do not confuse “next opening” with “last chance to buy now.”

Overnight and daylight-saving caveats

The recurring setup form does not accept one window whose end time is earlier than its start time. Do not reverse the times to represent an overnight shift. Use a supported schedule configuration for your business or a fixed deadline when that is more appropriate.

Local schedules follow their timezone rules, including daylight-saving transitions. Test promotions that cross a clock change. The repeated offer policy in your store must agree with the schedule customers see.
