Customize a timer in the visual designer
Use layout, sizing, labels, typography, colors, artwork and preview controls confidently.

Screenshots show the real application in an isolated demo environment with fictional example data. Setup notices and controls may differ by environment, plan and role. Click an image to view it full-size, and always use the values generated in your own workspace.
Save changes deliberately
Open the campaign designer, make your changes and save the design. Preview controls are for inspection; they do not automatically change the live campaign clock. Confirm that the saved preview reflects your changes before copying delivery code.
Layout and dimensions
- Family and composition determine whether the design is a strip, banner, button or offer card. Some compositions require a plan feature.
- Width, height, padding and spacing affect readability. Extra height does not always make a better timer; use compact cells with enough space for unit labels.
- Proportional sizing scales numbers, labels, spacing and padding with changes in width. If you turn it off, review all dimensions rather than assuming text will scale for you.
- Units can be enabled or disabled and labels customized. Keep enough units to explain the deadline; hiding days on a long campaign may confuse customers.
Typography and color
Choose a font that remains clear at email width and on mobile. Keep enough contrast between digits and panels and between labels and the background. Gradient endpoints matter too; readable text at the top can become unreadable at the bottom.
Use number size and weight carefully. Inspect wide values as well as short ones, and leave clear space between the digits and labels. Use borders, shadows and accent colors sparingly so the time remains the main focus.
Offer text, buttons and artwork
For supported compositions, edit the headline, supporting text and button text. The text displayed as a button in an email image is artwork, not an independent HTML control. The surrounding email link or website channel determines where a click goes.
Use the Images controls for the supported logo, offer and expiry assets. Save uploads and inspect their crop/placement. If buttons or offer cards are disabled by the plan, the basic layout control helps remove incompatible presentation settings; save the repaired design.
Preview and reset
- 1Check the available preview moments, especially live and expired states.
- 2Compare at your real display width rather than judging only a large editor sample.
- 3Use Reset colors to selected template when you want that preset’s palette back; this is not a full campaign reset.
- 4Save, revisit the campaign and test a newly requested public image. An old inbox image may remain cached.
