Publish your first countdown: a complete walkthrough
Follow the complete sequence from choosing a template to testing a real email or website.

Screenshots show the real application in an isolated demo environment with fictional example data. Setup notices and controls may differ by environment, plan and role. Click an image to view it full-size, and always use the values generated in your own workspace.
Before you start
You need a verified account, access to the intended workspace and permission to manage campaigns. Have your deadline, timezone, offer destination and preferred publishing channel ready. Start with a fixed-date campaign if your promotion has one deadline for everyone.
Create the campaign
- 1Open Templates. Browse the styles available to your workspace and select Use template on a design suitable for your offer. Alternatively, start from Campaigns and choose a template during setup.
- 2Give the campaign an internal name that you will recognize later, such as October webinar — registration deadline. This is a management label, not automatically the headline in the countdown artwork.
- 3Choose the timer type and its timing fields. For Fixed date, choose the timezone first, then enter the local end date and time. Add a start date only if you want the campaign to wait before it becomes live.
- 4Choose an expiration action. Use a clear message, zeroed timer, hidden timer or supported expiry image. Make the resulting state understandable rather than leaving visitors unsure whether the offer is still valid.
- 5Save the campaign. Open its designer, adjust the visual settings and save the design separately. Saving a design is not a substitute for publishing the campaign.
Connect a delivery channel
- 1Open the campaign’s publishing screen. Set and save the live and closed destination URLs if you want countdown clicks to follow the campaign’s current state.
- 2For email, choose your email platform and copy the generated HTML into an HTML/custom-code block. For a website, use the generated website code. For a hosted page, create a landing page connected to this campaign.
- 3Publish the campaign when the setup is complete. If you use a landing page, publish that page too; a campaign and a page have separate publication states.
- 4Send a test to a real inbox or open the destination in a private browser window. Check the time, image dimensions, destination and expired behavior, not only the editor preview.
What success looks like
The campaign is active, the destination shows the saved design, and the displayed deadline matches the timezone you selected. A click reaches the correct live page. Your expiry preview shows the message or replacement you intended.
Keep the campaign and public URLs stable after sending an email. If you need a separate offer, duplicate the campaign rather than changing the meaning of a timer customers have already received.
